It seems like every week there are new trade rumors surrounding the Detroit Pistons. No, this is not a reference to the trade for Bol Bol, as fun as that may be. Each week the NBA insiders across the league update the market on Jerami Grant.

While Detroit Pistons fans would hope that the market for Grant would be more robust (and it likely will end up being so), figuring out what those teams are most likely able to offer for his services will help to temper fans’ expectations for what is to come. So in that vein, we look forward.

What does a possible trade for Jerami Grant look like? Today we assess the four reported suitors’ assets and what may entice the Detroit Pistons.

These trades will be an attempt to suss out the rumor mill and see what is most likely to be offered. They will be discussed in the order of what should be considered most appealing for most Pistons fans as a way to shape the restoration going forward for the rest of the season.

Draft compensation will be guessed, but it’s often hard to project exactly how a deal ends up getting negotiated. Without further ado, let’s start off with the two biggest markets in the league.
