Ben Simmons has been one of the most talked-about trade pieces for the entirety of the season. This week, those reports have evolved to include Tobias Harris as another player the Philadelphia 76ers may look to move on from. They would hope to package him along with Simmons in a trade.

Harris was signed to a max contract three seasons ago and has seen his numbers drop ever since. So far this season he is averaging 18.4 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game on shooting splits of .455/.295/.856. He has shown before that is capable of much more than he is currently showing, but his time in Philadelphia may be coming to an end.

As Tobias Harris joins Ben Simmons on the trade block, what NBA trades exist for the Philadelphia 76ers to make their roster better this season?

So in an evolution of the Ben Simmons trade ideas, every trade put forth today will find Ben Simmons and Tobias Harris in another area code. All of them will be three-team trades, as getting one team to take on nearly $70 million annual salaries is understandably challenging.

Given the complication of these deals, draft capital will not be discussed even though some would likely be exchanged.

Most of the focus has been on the Atlanta Hawks of late, as the disgruntled John Collins is a beautiful fit next to Joel Embiid if Harris is no longer on the team. As such, they will be involved in three of the four trades we discuss today, starting next.

<div class="details"> <div class="team-name">Mavericks Get</div> <div class="info">Tobias Harris</div> <div class="info">Paul Reed</div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> <p>For the Sixers, the amount of theoretical shooting they add in this deal is astounding, providing them with the sort of depth they need to be a true championship contender.</p> <p>John Collins is an All-Star-caliber player and has hit at least 39 percent of his three-point attempts per game for three consecutive seasons, in addition to everything else he brings to the table.</p> <p>Danilo Gallinari has regressed in many ways, but he is still lights out from distance. Before this season, Hardaway had posted consecutive seasons shooting 39 percent behind the arc. Cam Reddish is hitting a career-high 37.9 percent from distance this year.</p> <p>For the Hawks, as costly as this will be, they get Ben Simmons. His fit alongside Trae Young and Clint Capela, for differing reasons, on the offensive side is complicated.</p> <p>However, the point of attack defense is more than worth it for them to bring him in and figure out the rest later.
