The Washington Wizards inked franchise star Bradley Beal to a monster contract extension this offseason. He’ll be in Washington for the long haul, and their goal is to put a competitive team around him

They’ve already made some solid moves to do that. Washington has added players like Will Barton, Monte Morris, and Delon Wright, and they also drafted rookie combo guard Johnny Davis.

As it stands, they have a nice little squad assembled in Washington, but they might not be done yet. Rumors have been floating around ever since the start of the summer that they could look to trade Kyle Kuzma.

The forward had a solid season last year, but if the Wizards could find an upgrade, or even trade him for draft capital and quality players, it could be worth it. Here are three NBA trades involving Kuzma that would help the Wizards.

Wizards receive: John Collins, Moe Harkless

Hawks receive: Kyle Kuzma, Rui Hachimura, 2025 1st-Round Pick (Lottery Protected)

This trade would see the Washington Wizards add a third star to the roster. They would create a Big 3 of Bradley Beal, Kristaps Porzingis, and Collins in Washington.

If put in the right situation, Collins is someone who can give a team 20 points and 10 rebounds every night. They could roll out a starting lineup of Monte Morris, Beal, Will Barton, Collins, and Porzingis.

For the Hawks, they’ve been focused on trading Collins for a while now. At this point, it seems highly unlikely that he ends up on their roster to start next season.

This may not be a huge haul for Collins, but if they can’t find a deal for a star, this would be a solid option. They’d get a decent replacement, a nice young player, and also recoup a pick after trading most of theirs for Dejounte Murray.
