After the Utah Jazz traded Rudy Gobert to the Minnesota Timberwolves, reports indicated that their plan was to keep star guard Donovan Mitchell and reshape their roster around him.

However, according to a report from Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Jazz are now “showing a willingness to listen on possible trade scenarios” for Mitchell.

The 25-year-old guard has emerged as a perennial All-Star during his time in Utah, and any team that trades for him will have to give up a haul. Utah’s standards for a deal were set with the Gobert trade, especially with Danny Ainge involved.

Some teams have already emerged as potential suitors, but anybody could get involved in the sweepstakes. Here are three NBA trades for Mitchell to help the Jazz.

NBA Trades: 3 Donovan Mitchell trades for the Utah Jazz: New York Knicks

Heat receive: Donovan Mitchell

Jazz receive: Tyler Herro, Duncan Robinson, Omer Yurtseven, 2023 1st-Round Pick, 2027 1st-Round Pick, 2029 1st-Round Pick

This is the most obvious deal on the market. Mitchell has been connected to the Heat for a long time and they have been the team that has been reportedly looking to make a deal for him for a while.

A core of Mitchell, Bam Adebayo, Jimmy Butler, and Kyle Lowry would be one of the most talented in the league, and after being the one-seed this past season, it would likely only improve their chances.

Meanwhile, the Jazz would be getting a potential All-Star who has shown flashes of being able to be the face of the franchise. If given the keys to a team, who knows how good Herro could be.

Utah would also be getting a sharpshooter in Robinson, who could very well have a bounce-back year, a quality young big in Yurtseven, and a ton of first-round picks.
