NBA Trades #2 Donovan Mitchell to Sacramento Kings
While the Utah Jazz have Mitchell on the trade block, the Sacramento Kings could look to make a move. Before trading with the Indiana Pacers for Domantas Sabonis, it seemed as if the Kings were in the process of rebuilding. Once they acquired Sabonis, it was clear the Kings were building to make a deep run in the playoffs. Since the Kings need another star-level talent, they could trade assets as well as draft picks to obtain Mitchell.
One player that the Utah Jazz may have their eyes on is two-way guard Davion Mitchell. Additionally, the Jazz may ask for veteran forward Harrison Barnes, center Richuan Holmes, and sharpshooter Terance Davis, plus several draft picks. This is a well-rounded package for both teams.
The Kings would have the opportunity to pair franchise-star De’Aaron Fox with Mitchell, as well as Sabonis, who is one of the best centers in the NBA. Additionally, rookie forward Keegan Murray would have several veterans to learn from. The Kings have some of the league’s best role players in Malik Monk, Kevin Huerter, Jeremy Lamb, and Josh Jackson.

Adding Mitchell would instantly make the Grizzlies one of the best teams in the NBA. The Utah Jazz may ask for sharpshooters Desmond Bane and Zaire Williams, as well as center Steven Adams, and rookie Jake LaRavia. In addition, the Grizzlies may have to trade away numerous draft picks to meet the wants of the Utah Jazz.</p>
<p>In return, the Utah Jazz would be asked to include center Udoka Azubuike. This trade package makes perfect sense for both teams. With several superstars in the Western Conference returning to full health, the Grizzlies will have to come back stronger to have a chance at one of the top seeds. Currently, Mitchell is one of the best players on the trade block. With this trade package, the Grizzlies would still be able to hold onto their core players and add one of the top shooting guards in the league.</p>
