While it may only be November, it’s never too early to take a look at the Los Angeles Lakers’ top targets of 2019 NBA Free Agency.

Despite the Los Angeles Lakers‘ legitimate pursuit of the 2019 NBA Playoffs, there seems to be this understanding that the focus is on 2019 NBA free agency. Even if they make the postseason, their odds of winning the Western Conference are slim to none.

So why not prime yourself with a look at some of the team’s top targets for next offseason?

Luckily for Magic Johnson, he’s got plenty of money to work with. After stretching Luol Deng‘s contract, the Lakers will have just enough cap space to sign a superstar to a max contract. With a number of big names scheduled to be available come July, the possibilities seem to be endless.

Who are the big names the Lakers have in their crosshairs? Are Magic and Rob Pelinka going to aim for the brightest stars on the market? Or will they turn their attention to the second tier of talent? It seems like a silly question, but we have to imagine that a number of scenarios are being tossed around when this discussion arises behind closed doors.
