NBA Top Shot swept the nation earlier this year by combining trading cards with online NFTs. NBA players got involved, celebrities got involved, and anyone who is a fan of basketball knew that this was a genius idea.Well, they are dropping their newest pack in just a couple of days. Here is everything you need to know about NBA Top Shot’s Base Set, Series 3, Release 2.

This will be the second drop of Series 3 and releases this Friday, November 12th at 2:00 p.m. (EST), 11:00 p.m. (PST). However, according to their website, collectors can join the drop one hour prior to the packs actually going on sale.

Anyone who is familiar with NBA Top Shot knows that getting there before the room opens is key. Order is randomized for those who joined the drop prior to the room opening, but anyone who joins after the room has already opened will be placed at the back of the line.

For this release, 350,000 packs will be available, and collectors will be allowed to purchase up to 10 packs. They will be common edition packs, varying from 4,000 to 60,000 CC (card count).

This set is highlighted with more rookies who will be making their NBA Top Shot debuts in this release. The 3-star rookies headlining this drop are Dalano Banton of the Toronto Raptors, Chris Duarte of the Indiana Pacers, and Josh Giddey of the Oklahoma City Thunder.

In addition, other rookies who made their debut in the previous release will be featured once again. This includes Evan Mobley of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Davion Mitchell of the Sacramento Kings, and Jalen Suggs of the Orlando Magic. In total, 12 rookies will be up for grabs in these packs.

Outside of rookies, expect to see some stars in this release as well. LaMelo Ball of the Charlotte Hornets, Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns, and Donovan Mitchell of the Utah Jazz can all be pulled in this set.

The packs will be $9.00 each. Collectors may pay for the packs with a credit/debit card, or with any money that they have in their Dapper accounts.
