According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Ben Simmons trade talks are heating up. Things are “gathering momentum” and, supposedly, multiple teams are involved.
The drama surrounding Simmons has gone on for months now. The 6-10 guard has yet to suit up for the 76ers this season, citing that he is not mentally ready yet.
Philadelphia has fined Simmons multiple times, but he has yet to return. Simmons’ agent, Rich Paul, has outwardly stated that the team has not been supportive, yet the team says they have been.

<h2>NBA Trades: Three-team Ben Simmons trades – Atlanta Hawks and New Orleans Pelicans</h2>
<p><strong>76ers receive: Brandon Ingram, Lou Williams</strong></p>
<p><strong>Hawks receive: Ben Simmons, Garrett Temple</strong></p>
<p><strong>Pelicans receive: Cameron Reddish, Kevin Huerter, Danilo Gallinari, 2022 First-Round Pick (vis ATL), 2024 First-Round Pick (via PHI)</strong></p>
<p>Brandon Ingram can be easily argued as a top-25 player in the NBA, and with how bad the New Orleans Pelicans have looked this season, he might just be on the trade block.</p>
<p>While it’s not likely, there’s always a chance the Pelicans want to reset a little bit. This deal would see them get off of his contract, free up cap space, and add two talented young players.</p>
<p>Kevin Huerter is a sharpshooter who would play well next to Zion Williamson, and Cameron Reddish is Williamson’s old teammate from Duke. They’d pair nicely, too.</p>
<p>Philadelphia would add Ingram and Lou Williams in this deal. Ingram’s shot creation would be a welcomed addition, as he could provide Joel Embiid some more relief.</p>
<p>He would slot in nicely at the three. Williams would be a sparkplug off the bench in his return to Philadelphia, giving them some more guard depth.</p>
<p>Lastly, the Hawks would get Ben Simmons and Garrett Temple. Temple would simply shore up some of the depth they would lose in the trade, while Simmons would (obviously) be the real prize.</p>
<p>Simmons would help patch up Atlanta’s horrendous defense. He could play the forward position and cover the opposing team’s best player.</p>

<h2>NBA Trades: Three-team Ben Simmons trades – Charlotte Hornets and Sacramento Kings</h2>
<p><strong>76ers receive: De’Aaron Fox, Gordon Hayward</strong></p>
<p><strong>Hornets receive: Ben Simmons, Danny Green</strong></p>
<p><strong>Kings receive: James Bouknight, Matisse Thybulle, Kai Jones, 2024 First-Round Pick (via PHI)</strong></p>
<p>So, neither De’Aaaon Fox nor Gordon Hayward is a top-25 player, but both are probably in the top 50. That has to count for something here, right?</p>
<p>Philadelphia would get their franchise point guard in Fox and a versatile wing in Hayward. That would create a starting lineup of Fox, Seth Curry, Hayward, Tobias Harris, and Joel Embiid.</p>
<p>Losing Matisse Thybulle hurts a lot, but getting two top-50 NBA players would be huge. This trade would help cement them as a serious favorite to win the title.</p>
<p>The Hornets would get the defensive anchor that they desperately need in Ben Simmons. Realistically, he could play some center for them, as they are seriously lacking at that position.</p>
<p>Simmons would help improve their seriously lackluster defense. Meanwhile, Danny Green would give them another defensive stopper/shooter, who also pairs as a veteran presence.</p>
<p>Lastly, the Kings would reset a little bit, trading their current franchise cornerstone (as recent rumors indicate they might do). In return, they get three young players oozing with potential.</p>
<p>Thybulle would drastically improve their defense, James Bouknight is a scoring genius, and Kai Jones would give them a young, athletic center to develop.</p>
