Marko Simonović and Tony Bradley will play a key role in the Chicago Bulls’ success this upcoming season.

Heading into their Wednesday night season opener, the Chicago Bulls were the team most pundits identified as most likely to make a drastic improvement compared to last season. The off-season additions of Lonzo Ball, DeMar DeRozan and Alex Caruso were exciting enough. The proposition of placing those three veterans alongside perennial All-Stars Zach LaVine and Nikola Vučević made fans envision a return to the playoffs with a shot at homecourt advantage in the first round.

The instant chemistry displayed by Chicago’s group of high IQ veterans, and the intensity of the role players filling out the roster led the team to an undefeated preseason. While those games don’t count in the grand scheme of things, they go a long way in getting a team prepared for the 82 game grind that is the regular season. If the Bulls are to meet expectations, each starter must play up to his potential, and every player in the second unit must embrace his role.

Marko Simonović and Tony Bradley will play key roles for the Chicago Bulls this season. They are both young and full of untapped potential.

Nikola Vučević is a two-time All-Star center in the middle of his prime; he’s one of the reasons why fans are so excited about this year’s team. However, he can’t be on the court for 48 minutes a night. When he comes out of the game for a breather, the team must rely on Marko Simonović and Tony Bradley, two relatively inexperienced players, to provide quality minutes. Let’s take a closer look at how these two young players with loads of potential can help the Bulls reach their collective goals this season.
