NBA free agency is in full swing, although the initial hype has died down significantly. Despite that, there are still some solid players on the market, including forward TJ Warren.

Warren has only played in four games over the past two seasons due to injuries. However, the last time he saw significant playing time, he was killing it in The Bubble.

It’s likely that teams have yet to sign him because they are waiting on a potential Kevin Durant trade, but considering how good he was before the injury, it’s still a bit odd.

Now that a bunch of the free agency money has dried up, Warren could end up signing on for the league minimum on a one-year prove-it contract like Victor Oladipo signed last year. Here are five teams on which he would fit best.

The Celtics would provide Warren with a great opportunity. They need some extra depth at the wing/forward position, and he would fit in nicely on both sides of the floor.

Boston is set up to compete for a championship, and Warren’s scoring would give them a massive boost off the bench. Backing up Jayson Tatum would help him get back into a rhythm next year.

Plus, at 6’8, Warren would fit in nicely with their switch-heavy defensive scheme. He would have to sign for the minimum, but if he wants to win while proving his worth, Boston is a great option.
